Dance Fit Crew Series for kids age 6 to 12 – 30, 45 & 60 min: DFC has great music, positive atmosphere and focuses on agility, coordination, flexibility, strength, fun dance movement and building self-confidence. Kids learn how a positive mindset is important to our total health and well-being and practice turning STOP thoughts into GO thoughts. CC MM FF

Mind Muscle – 15, 20 & 30 min: class includes weight resistance training and focus on specific muscle groups. We use light hand weights and resistance bands to maintain ideal form to sculpt a long and lean physique. MM

Foundation Flexibility – 15, 20 & 30 min: A series of dynamic body-sculpting stretch segments set to music meant to motivate and inspire. Learn how applying the Dancer’s Body® method can engage and strengthen the CORE at all times. Creative Cardio Dance Party – 15, 20 & 30 min: Easy to follow and fun! A dynamic multi-directional approach to keeps muscles moving in fresh, new ways, preventing plateau. Dancer’s Body® Zumba® – 60 & 75 min: Dancer’s Body Sculpt class with Zumba® for Creative Cardio segment. Upbeat dance and aerobic elements that include mostly Latin based music with fast and slow rhythms. CC FF

Creative Cardio Zumba® – 15, 20 & 30 min: Upbeat dance and aerobic elements that include mostly Latin based music with fast and slow rhythms. The class can incorporate different styles such as cumbia, salsa, merengue, mambo, regggaeton, tango and hip hop. CC

Creative Cardio Sport – 15, 20 & 30 min: Cardio driven sport drills. Dynamic and explosive moves to keep the muscles in constant change up, preventing plateau. Includes an intense focus on CORE strength the entire class. Power-pumping music. CC

Follow & Freestyle Format – Brain and body workout. Easy to follow movements to get your “cardio on” combined with freedom to explore and challenge muscles groups with freestyle.

Train With Tamara – Personal Training: Get one on one and small group training with Tamara Squires, the creator of Start With Happy® Fitness, Dancer's Body®, FLiP! ®, Optimal 90®, and Dance Fit CrewTamara has been instructing for over 30 years and taught around the globe in Australia, Europe, Mexico, Canada, Asia and throughout the United States. She is on the International Council of Dance with headquaters based in France. Tamara is the Executive Director of TAMJAMS Dance & Fitness Conventions established in 1996. She also directs TAMJAMS classes/events at Treehouse, the Best of State Athletic Club since 2007 and she spent 8 years as Director of Jazz and Guest Master Teacher for Ballet West at the University of Utah where Tamara implemented core curriculum for levels from Beginning to Professional.  "I'm Your Trainer"

Late Entry Policy: To prevent injury, a warm up is included in the first part of class and is required to be able to take the class safely. Please plan to arrive before class begins. Allow time to park and be in attendance by the beginning of class. In some circumstances, if a client is willing to warm up themselves appropriately, they may be allowed to enter class when a transition is taking place between Foundation Flexibility, Creative Cardio or Mind Muscle. It is at the discretion of the TAMJAMS Instructor to determine if late entry will be allowed. Please note that some classes may not allow late entry and studio doors may be locked once class begins (no late entry or early exit for Train With Tamara Sessions). 

48 Hour Cancellation Policy: No refunds for no shows with the one exception the 48 hour policy. If someone cancels 48 hours in advance of the class, they can have another 48 hours after the date of the class they registered for to use the credit on another class at TAMJAMS. Basically if you cancel 2 days before the class it gives TAMJAMS a chance to fill the spot, then you will have another 2 days (after the date of registered class) to use the credit for another class before the credit expires. Give us 2 days and we give you 2 days. 

Where to Park: Please be sure and park your car ALONG THE CURB at Deer Hollow Park (12918 S. 1700 E.). This is a public place and it is easy to find parking along the front curb of the park (it does not have a drive in parking lot). Please arrive early so you can walk directly to the studio before class begins. It is very important to be on time for class so you can get warmed up properly and prevent injury.
