My experience during the 12-week program has been amazing.  Not only are the workouts wonderful but I’ve truly become friends with my body again.  Tamara’s core belief session helped me realize that I can and should listen to my body.  I’ve realized that I haven’t really listened to what my body has been telling me since I was 14 years old.  Tamara has given me the tools to know what I should eat as well as how much I should eat, but all the while listening to what my body needs.   In past fitness regimens it has felt that I was in a constant battle with my body, trying to force it to be my perception of healthy.  Now I trust my body, I know it will get stronger, I know that it will tell me when it’s hungry.  I in turn will give my body the exercise it needs and feed it.   I can do this for the rest of my life.

The workouts are just amazing.  The lifting, while challenging, is definitely something that I can sustain over time.  I absolutely love the stretch, it’s been amazing to see my flexibility level increase over the past several weeks.  I feel so much younger!!  Surprisingly to me, the dance has been incredibly fun for me.  I had never danced before taking this class and now I find myself dancing to any music I hear.   I feel that I am more aware of my body now.  My body is leaner than it has ever been.  I am fitting in my "fit” clothes from several years ago when I was lifting weights and doing lots of cardio….but I weigh ten pounds more than I did then. 

I’m just so thankful that I’ve had the opportunity to take part in the Dancer’s Body lifestyle.  I don’t ever intend to stop.
